SBD Application Instructions

Semester in Biological Discovery (SBD) accepts applications from students from any accredited college or university.

The complete application should include:

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • An official transcript
  • Completed application and uploaded information forms, including Approval for College Credit form*.

*If your home institution does not have a memorandum of understanding with the 麻花星空视频 you may need to work with your department, registrar, and/or study away office to ensure you will receive credit for the program. Have them complete the Approval for College Credit form and contact sbd@mbl.edu for any questions.

Laboratory work in many SBD courses requires experimental manipulation of animals. All protocols involving vertebrates and cephalopods have been evaluated and approved by the 麻花星空视频's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. If you have any concerns please contact sbd@mbl.edu before submitting your application.

An offer to attend SBD is not a guarantee of financial aid. Financial aid decisions will be made separately from admissions decisions.
