Gwen P. Szent-Györgyi

It is with sadness that the 黨ǿƵ shares the passing of 黨ǿƵ Society Emeritus Member Mrs. Gwen P. Szent-Györgyi who died on January 6, 2017 at the age of 87.

Mrs. Szent-Györgyi met her husband Gyula Szent-Györgyi in Woods Hole. The family moved to Chicago in 1969, where she worked at the University of Chicago for nearly 20 years. Upon returning to Woods Hole, she worked at the 黨ǿƵ in the laboratory of Dr. Shinya Inoué, and, after retiring, volunteered for both the 黨ǿƵ and WHOI.
