Two New Microscopes to Help Advance �黨�ǿ���Ƶ Science | Falmouth Enterprise

The scientific, the academic and the curious-minded gathered around two brand-new microscopes, large enough to fill half a room at the Marine Biological Laboratory on June 27. They crowded closer to representatives from the companies that built them to learn what $4.3 million in grant funding can buy and how the new technology will advance work done by the �黨�ǿ���Ƶ’s Central Microscopy Facility.

Just a few minutes earlier, they had each been seated in �黨�ǿ���Ƶ’s Clapp Auditorium. Representatives from Leica Biosystems and Thermo Fisher Scientific, the companies that each built one of the new microscopes, joined �黨�ǿ���Ƶ representatives to explain how the microscopes work.
